Still Life Collection

These still life paintings are painted from direct observation using traditional materials and techniques. I work primarily with indirect oil painting, building up layers of semi-transparent glazes to achieve a high degree of luminosity, surface clarity, and depth.

The subjects range from familiar items such as flowers, paper bags, and fortune cookies to more mysterious and simple, often overlooked forms. Each painting is framed. Some are handmade in dark walnut or red oak with a rubbed oil and wax finish. Others are gold leaf or black frames. Free shipping within the U.S.
